Schedule for the Twelve Days Free From Violence 2025

September 21 through October 4, 2025
Please join Twin Cities Nonviolent, our partners, and the global community as we
celebrate Twelve Days Free from Violence. This year, our schedule holds three
categories of experiences for all to take part in including live, in-person and online
events and suggestions for actions to promote peace. We hope you find many
experiences listed below to take part in during the Twelve Days Free from Violence.

Sunday, September 21st: Global Listening Day, join thousands in a shared act of reverent attention. Whether alone or in community, your participation strengthens the global field of attunement.People across the world will pause to listen for the wisdom needed to meet this moment. Sunday, September 21st, 10 AM to 4 PM, Veg Fest, The festival is packed with food, fun, and inspiration — featuring delicious vegan fare, cooking demos with free samples, inspiring talks, a family-friendly area, and around 100 exhibitors. Monday, September 22, 6:30-8:30 PM: Say the World: Visual Act of Protest, Artist
Barbara Lundsten began drawing banned words on index cards to counteract the
censorship of key values such as diversity, equity, accessibility, gender equity, climate
change and all to preserve what we stand FOR. Hosting her cards that went from
banned to banner will be a catalyst to talk about the values that matter to us. Terry from
